So cute. So patient and understanding of your need to play dress up with her.

What are you talking about, she looks very dignified to me! I think she's making up a little story about herself, and where she would wear such a fine garment, like you with the hats :)

Both kids, on cue: "Awwwwwwwww!"

The cuteness is totally unbearable!

Ohhhh, Yoshi! That's gorgeous! Piddles the Cat is happy-pawing the snot outta my knee while purring at your gorgeous face and charming accessories.

Hey just wanted to stop by and say that although we have just met, I will be thinking of you this weekend and praying for you on Monday.

Just remember, all you are expected to do is lay down. That is your only job on Monday. I thought that if I had to do my surgery, we were really in trouble but all I really had to do was lay down, they will take care of everything else. How easy is that.

I also see that you are working with the "Keep them laughing" theory with the Dr.s keep it up even if they don't laugh. You handle the comedy and let them do the rest.

Remember also that people from right here in Vancouver to all over the world are feeling for you and caring for you and that you are special.

Oh, I forgot, that is one sweet kitty. Love the scarf very dignified.

Oh, didn't she pose nicely for the top two pictures! Looks like she started to get a little impatient for the third. What a good cat to let you do that to her. She must really love you. She is so cute.

Bwahahaha! I, too, am hypnotized by my cats blue eyes. They are so hypnotic soooo hypnoooootiiiic.

Oh my god, I can't take that much cuteness. Yoshi is such a good sport about posing. She is a diva cat!

I'm not here. said...

AW! Yoshi is so adorable!
Good kitty...

I see no loss of dignity here. Maybe you could make her wear your bucket hat.

Candy said...

Oh poor baby Yoshi.

(Ok now that she thinks I am on her side, where is the matching hat miss hat collector?)

And Yoshi models it so beautifully!

Very cute cat! If only I could get my kids to pose that nicely for a picture! :)

That cat is total eat 'em up cuteness. My cats, yeah, that doesn't happen. Ever. Darn cats thinking they don't have to entertain me.

I have a friend who is also have a mastectomy this week, I will be keeping you in my thoughts.

I love how artfully the scarf is tied (witha double twist!)

I've probably said it before, and I"ll def say it again, Yoshi is such a Beauty Cat.

I'm always astonished at Yoshi's willingness to pose--at least for a pic or two. :)

OK, so two friends are having a night-cap during winter in South Dakota, and one of them wonders aloud which is farther away from them: Florida or the moon? The other one gives a patronizing glare and responds, "HEL-LO! Can you see Florida??"

Hope today brings you lots of reasons to laugh, Kranki. Thinking of you!

I'm here to say Hi this morning! Wait, it's just about afternoon now! I'm thinking of you and sending every single positive vibe I have your way! Peace.

She looks quite proud to be wearing that scarf in the first picture!

Do you know I tried to take a picture of one of our cats last night and the little brat would look every which way but at the camera. Finally I'd move in the direction she was looking, and she'd either put her head down or turn in a completely different direction, as if she were telling me in no uncertain terms she didn't want her picture taken!

Kranki said...

BLOGAOLIC-yeah, she is pretty cute.

WHFROPERA-am I detecting a theme here? She was almost named Diva so I think you are right on the button.

ZUHN-she is really very good to me. And very patient.

SHARKEY-it was a knitting exercise that just happened to be perfect cat scarf length. Poor Yoshi!

ECLECTIC-this weekend has been very busy so far which is perfect. Keeping me out of trouble.

ALAN-that is the ultimate in cheese. Matching outfits with your pet. I have thought about it though. Guilty of that.

SPOONLEG-that is a great compliment since you have a new baby in the house and all. So Oscie is all smitten, huh?

HOMEDETENTIONLADY-it took a lot of shots to get that one. A LOT!

SWLF-NIKKI-thanks for thinking of me. Hugs!

SUSIE-well, I think so too. But I know others might think it was very goofy. That is such a cute thought that she might have her own visions.

MISFIT-that is so sweet!

PIXIE LAROUGE-wow! Lots of cat charming going on!

AUGUST95-I thought a lot about your comment last night. It makes perfect sense and made me fret a lot less. Thanks. I'll just lay down and let it happen.

KAREN-she was impatient all through the photo session. She sits really well but doesn't like to look right in the camera. I guess I have used the flash too often. Ooops.

ERN-I think her eyes are her best feature. I wish I had eyes like that.

SWLF-RACHEL-I feel really lucky that Sarah found me. She was pretty excellent to me and very supportive. Just like you are.

DIMA-she is a most excellent sport. I love her.

MOMENTARILY_DISTRACTED-she is a very good kitty.

MRTL-she is my baby.

SQUIRL-oh, if only I could get her one!

CAROLYN-I really appreciate your prayers. Thanks so much. I am very happy to hear that your hubby is doing so well. I am sorry you had to go through all that. It just isn't fair, is it?

JESSICA RABBIT-I am so going to try and get her a bucket hat to match. She'll hate it though. Tough.

LEAFGIRL77-isn't she the poser?

SWLF-SHOSHIE-that is so funny! Drunk blogging! Thanks for your good wishes.

GOOFYJ-no kidding, huh? She is one good kitty.

VAJANA-I hope your friend does well with her surgery. Give her a high five from a fellow breast cancer chick. Yoshi is one of a kind. Most cats are not so co-operative.

HAPPYANDBLUE2-yeah, her life really sucks!! Hee hee.

HANNI-she does carry it off with a fair bit of elan. Maybe I should have called her that.

MILLINER'S DREAM-she blows me away every time.

ECLECTIC-I am spending lots of time doing little things to keep busy as well as hugging my cat.

KALKI-so very Tara Banks!

KASSI-isn't she? Too cute.

TRACI-peace to you as well. Thanks so much for the positive vibes.

SWLF-LISABETH-Grace would probably love it here right about now as we have a new puppy next door for a few days. Very cute. Thanks for all the positive thoughts and wishes for the days ahead.

SASSYFEMME-Yoshi does the exact same thing. I have to snap my fingers or call her name to get her attention. She almost always turns her head at the last minute. She hates looking at the camera but will sit in one spot for ages. Very weird!

Good luck tomorrow. (And it is perfectly ok to say anything to the cute surgeon when you're coming out of anesthesia.)

for one who is having her dignity crushed with such abandon, she looks pretty pleased with herself!
my cousin's husband is a tattoo artist who has begun to specialize in nipples for women who have undergone masectomies, he is in ottawa so it is a bit of a trek, but comes very highly recommended!

Did you make that scarf with a tiny circular loom? If so, can you tell me where you got it? I used to have one and I can't find one now!
