Yoshi has always loved sleeping under the covers and getting all snuggly with me. This little idiosyncrasy of hers has recently turned into a potentially dangerous habit. She has started weasling her way under the blankets on my bed, on the couch and other places where people plant their asses without too much thought. She is in grave danger of more than her head being crushed. I now have to check every time I sit down and I don't always remember.

You know how some people post a "Watch your step" sign to keep folks from tripping?
You could post a "Watch your ass" sign above the couch, to keep folks from...umm...SQUISHING THE KITTY LOVELINESS THAT IS YOSHI.
Have a great weekend, Kranki.
Now I have one more thing to worry about in this world...!

Hee! This is hilarious. Bridget likes to slip underneath our braided rug and sort-of flop it over her so only her eyes are peeking out. There's no risk of stepping on her though, because she's a huge bump on an otherwise flat floor.
So we're like, "Oh gee, where could Bridget be? She must be around here somewhere..."
(ps - I really dig your furniture.)
Oh no, Yoshi, BE CAREFUL!
Crazy cat!
Cute pic Kranki!
Our Katie does that, but mostly only on our bed. Of course, our bed is where I heave the laundry basket after I bring it upstairs and I hate to admit that I've heaved it upon Katie at least once already!
Crazy Yosh-meister!
It might be a good time to sit down with her, not on her, and find out if she wants to be buried or cremated. Or perhaps stuffed and kept on the mantle..
Also, is it possible to take out a huge insurance policy on a cat..
That is way too cute.
Why do they do this!? So dangerous! Our cat has been stepped on (by the dog) while sleeping under the covers of our bed during the day. No cats were harmed, fortunately.
I cant even tell you how many kitties I have squished because of this same evil plot. BLack cats, black sheets, dark house, yeah. However they seem to come out fine and I come out of it with claw marks all over me. Hmmm.
She is so cute I would crawl in with her and smooch her face.
Cats like to live on the edge. I think that is why mine keeps trying to sharpen her claws on the best carpeting in the house. She is **this close** to the edge, may I say.
