Crush Your Cat's Head Friday-Pushing the Envelope

First of all my deepest apologies for neglecting you and your blogs. I have a lot on my plate right now and I am, frankly, not managing my time very well. Lack of practice doing all these new and confusing jobs. I've got business stuff going on and my dad's business stuff to help with along with my already copious doctor and hospital appointments to attend. Then I got this bitchin' cold which turned me into a whiny girlie girl. My energy is toast, my mood is grumpy, and I have so much to tell you but too little time and, well, ooomph to do it.

Anyway, that is why I've been such a blogging turd.

Enough about me and let's get on with the damned cat, shall we?

Today was a lovely sunny day and Yoshi was up where the sun was shining its brightest. That would be on my desk where SHE IS NOT ALLOWED! I was completely and thoroughly ignored and finally gave up shoving her butt off as I know warm sunny days will be few and far between over winter. Besides, she deserves it.

Mocking my stern demands to, "GET DOWN!"

Outright ignoring me. Notice the defiant posture.

Perhaps the printer was ever toastier.

Groaning under her weight.

Settling in for the long haul.

Clearly, I'm not going to get any work done.

Nope. None at all.

No apologies needed. Real life takes precedence. Well, sometimes. :)

Yoshi is so adorable up there on your desk. Cats just don't understand "no". Like when they are trying to eat your food and you push their face away, they act like, "Um, excuse me, but your hand is blocking that delicious smelling tuna sandwich. I was trying to eat it. Perhaps you didn't notice?"

Wonderful! Yoshi is exactly like Alex; her loves sitting on my printer as the sun comes through the window. But then, a cat will be a cat no matter who and where being a cat is.

No need to apologize, my dear dear friend! Please get over that cold before the real season sets in!

Would love to deliver chicken soup...

That "defiant pose" looks like "who, me?"!!!

and sleeping with the mouse is just scary...

Hope you are feeling better. Colds really knock you out. You were most likely run down from all the action you have been seeing lately.

Yoshi just looks so huggable. She is just gorgeous.

Yoshi reminds me why I want another Siamese so badly!

Feel better and hope things settle down for you soon.

And you force her to sleep on and amongst your incredibly uncomfortable office equipment? Where's your compassion, woman? She needs a soft, comfortable surface on top of that desk. Now get to it! :)

Hope you're feeling better soon.

That Yoshi. Always on the wrong side of the door. Just like Maggie. She always seems she wants to stand between me and my technology as well.

Sure hope you're feeling better now. Those pictures of Yoshi are great. I see she behaves as well as most any cat. Maybe she's crushing your head here, in her own way.

No sweat. Hope your business matters are going well.

Your desk area looks so clean and tidy and modern hip. And it seems you enforce your rules as well as we do - in this house, there are no flat surfaces that haven't been graced by feline presence.

Office Yoshi! Clearly, the working girl had to have the desk space to accomplish her tasks for the day.

that's quite the cute picture of cat and mouse

Ahh Yoshi. How could you possibly push her off, when she just dares you to do it so blatantly.

And don't worry about us, we'll still be here when you're ready to blog again.

Aw, but she looks SO comfortable, mom! :)
Last night I was sorta sitting/reclining on the bed watching movies and got up to put on another coat of clear nail polish. When I returned, BW had settled right in the very spot I had been in and even laying on him wouldn't bulge his white hairy ass. I finally resorted to laying next to him. *grumbles about pushy felines*

ern is right - no apologies needed. Life happens, and it sounds like it's been happening a lot where you live!!

And as for Miss Fussypants, what a pill! Adorable, but - a pill! :)

Take it easy!!
