Life in the Slow Lane
Wow. How very sad. It makes me want to go out and adopt some critters and spoil them rotten.
Now I'm crushed. And people wonder why we had our purebred, champion line Golden Retriever neutered at 8 months. I'm sending them here for explanation.
At 50, I've never had a pet I chose; they've always been adopted or rescued from someone or somewhere. It won't happen, but if this were viewed at about the 7th grade along with other mandatory education things, maybe we'd get somewhere!alan
seeing all those animals in the dumpsters just kills me.*hug*Makes me want to go hug Halo and tell her she better be a good doggie because I saved her ass from that shit! ;)
that killed me too-it vividly demonstrates how disposable so many people feel pets are---sad but true. If we all get onemore person to spay or neuter or adopt/rescue then that is fewer puppies and kittens brought into the world.
That video is devastating. So sad that it's true. It's no wonder so few people are protesting the wars. Things like this allow us to think that killing is okay.
