There are no more sunshiny spots because of the rain and mom is busy and not paying attention to me and I am sad and cold and neeeeeedy. No amount of meowing around the house is changing anything.
Yoshi, I know it seems like the whole world is ganging up on you, but you have the best Mom in the whole world; just go rub on her legs and it will be better, ok? Meowing isn't nearly as effective as furry contact...
Of course, your cousin Frankie likes to do that in the middle of the night...in the dark...and he's black as coal...so the attention he gets isn't always what he wants!
