Cats love eating plants. When I left my cat with my parents for a week, she terrorized my dad's plant collection!

She is a balcony beauty. I can tell she loves it. (Sorry about the plant, though.)

I remember the days when we got a cat and all of a sudden I had to choose between the plants and the cat. The cat won. (But now I have a yard for my plants and no cat in the house, so everything is quite different.)

Yea, sure. I picture you doing research on plants that don't appeal to cats.

Yoshi knows that you grow plants only for her enjoyment.

She doesn't seem to be too worried about your "crushing for real" threat.

She sure is a pretty girl.

Water them with peppered water -- add ground/crushed red pepper to the water and in a few days the leaves are all spicy. The cats usually leave them alone after that. But yeah, like Squirl said, Yoshi doesn't seem particularly worried about you crushing her "for reals". I think she knows you're wrapped around her dainty little pinkie paw! Who isn't?! She's gorgeous!

Yoshi is sophisticated now that she has moved on up. Those are now called "mixed greens" and not "plants". Add some basalmic vinigrette and feta cheese and she'll be good to go.

When our kitties get in a mood like that, we grow them special kitty grass to chew on instead. You can pick it up at pet stores.
