SPD-Fitting Room HELL

I have this skirt already in blue and thought I'd try on the coral one. I hate the colour though. Love it on others but I just couldn't see myself wearing it in public. Doesn't look too bad in the photo though. Should go back for it?

If you go back wear a different top. That might make a difference.
Maybe something more fitted and a lighter color and some cute sandals. Can you tell that I watch too much What Not to Wear?!!

I love the color. I also agree with "jar" that you should wear a lighter shirt, maybe a T-shirt. Don't want Stacy and Clinton to come after you.

I think it'd be OK with a more fitted top, and one that's cut straight across at the bottom instead of sort of scooped. Maybe something cream colored. I, too, watch Clinton abd Stacy...religiously. Pete even knows to shut it with the talking when What Not to Wear is on.

The color looks good on you, though.

Oh, and...

Nice look on your face!

jar-I love that show too. I can be super objective and quite helpful with other people but with myself I suck. I think I am going to stick with the blue skirt for now.

Vanessa- I would love for them to come after me. A $5000 US Visa card would rock right about now. I have a total fear of bright colours. I am just not sure about that skirt.

Misfit-yeah, that look on my face says it all. It definitly needs a different top. I am totally addicted to black though. I ALWAYS have to wear black somewhere in every outfit. I used to wear nothing but black. Honestly, I have become quite brave to even try something like that on. I love that show too. I learn so much.

hdl- I have a really hard time hiding my, um, displeasure! It gets me into a lot of trouble. I am with ya on the skirt.

I agree with you. It is easier to dress someone else other than yourself. Guess that's why I wear lots of jeans and tee shirts!!

ok, here's my deal with that show...what about people who are dirt poor who want to look nice? i could never in a MILLION years afford even 1 item on that show.

Ohmigod girlfriend,
Look what happens when I leave town! That skirt would make a good flag for people trapped on a desert island. That color is so NOT you! Wait till I get out there and we will do some killer shopping. I am thinking sex kitten from that movie, Kill Pussykat Kill! Good luck with the big c. Talk to you soon. love p-daddy xx

I think you probably wear colors on the cool side of the spectrum. If so, then coral wouldn't be your color and blue would. I would look like shit in blue but can wear coral any day. I also look horrible in black so I can't imagine dressing that way either.

jar-that is exactly what I wear too. Jeans and T-shirts.

whfropera-I am a po' individual too and when I hear what they pay I freak out sometimes. But then if I was given $5000 I might spend that kind of cash too.

p-daddy-we will do killer shopping when you come over. You bet we will!

squirl-you are so right. I do wear cooler colours with a lot of black. My mom has the same colouring as you and looks amazing in coral. Like you do too. It is a shame as coral really can warm a person up. You know, complexion-wise. Alas not on me.

I would say that any article of clothing that makes you make that face is a what NOT to wear.

laura-I have to say I think you are totally right.
