One Whole Freakin' Year!

I don’t normally post on a Sunday but today is a special day. It is my One Year Blog Anniversary. I have to admit that I am not really one for celebrating these things. I usually forget. I am such a man that way.

I am not really sure how you all found your way here and if you actually remember I would love to hear about it in the comments section. If you can’t, no matter, I am just really happy you all are here.

However there have been a couple visitors who have found their way here through Google searches and, bless their freakish hearts, I have the ability to find out exactly what they were searching for. Here are a few Googlisms that caught my fancy in particular. I hope they found what they were looking for.

-gag slut posted
-siamese noises
-cruel nicknames fatty
-sexy keen student bad teacher
-orgy photo
-pictures of girls having accidents doing farts and hard dirty poo poos in polyester shorts

The last one fits the spirit of my blog perfectly.

Happy bloggaversary!

(Pssst. Did you happen to get a phone number for the sexy keen student bad teacher? Just, you know, curious.)

Go kranki, it's ya blirthday,
Gonna party like it's ya blirthday...

I know how I came here . . . least I think I do. I saw you at dooce going on about "I put costumes on my cat," and I thought WTF kinda lunatic is THAT? Then I thought, I'm gonna go see, because holy shit, I loves me some lunatics! And I stayed. And I am so glad. Big, squishy hug to you :)

That last google search was me. I'm a bad, bad man.

word verification: yelanais. noisy sandwich spread?

ha ha...that last one is too funny! I get a lot of hits with people looking for astrology and medical porn, so it's nice to know that I'm not the only one.

Could Aunt B have led me to you? It's possible, but I'm not sure. Either way, I read you, you made me laugh my ass off, I put you on the blog roll.

That last searcher was looking for something verrrry specific. It kind of makes me want to enter that search and see what it turns up. But not really.

Happy blirthday! I think I found you through Susie, but I can't remember for sure. How I got here was less memorable than what I read here. Love ya!

happy anniversary! i'm the kind of reader who lurks in the shadows, but today is special, so here i am. i found you through some links, likely a dooce link, and i stayed because:
1. i so relate to the kranky
2. i have dressed my dogs in completely humiliating gear, so the cat dressing cracks me up
3. i'm inspired by your courage, and feel like how could i possibly have anything to bitch about after all that you've been through!? (i still find plenty, but i have some perspective)

cheers!

Hey I am so happy for you. I have just heard that the 2010 Olympics will be held in BC. Are you excited?

Well blogdom hit the mother lode when you signed on babe! I got here through SWLF. I think of you every single day my dear. Peace.

I saw your comments on Sharkey's and on Susie's blog. For a long time I didn't come by that much, then all of a sudden I got into the head-crushing goodness.

Oh, and is that last search real? You made it up, didn't you?

Strangest search on my blog was "ironing voyeur". Just not in the same league, is it?

I'm not here. said...

Happy Blirthday, Krankipantzen!

You had to have made that last one up!! And if you didn't? Ew!

Of course, the cancer connection is how I ended up here. I think we both commented at SJ's place when she had her scare last year. Then I don't remember if I came here first, or you stopped by my place first.

Either way, I'm glad I found your site. You've handled the last year with strength, grace, and good humor, and you've set a wonderful example for us all. Happy anniversary!

I have no idea how I got here. Where the hell am I? What is this place?

Happy one year!

I come for the orgy photos... I stay for the Yoshi.

Yay, happy one-year to you! I kept seeing you in mrtl's comments and finally one day clicked on you. I hadn't before because I have way too many blogs that I read as it is. BUT, your blog has been one of the very best additions to my list - I just adore you, dear.

How did I get to your site.......? I think I was blog-hopping as I tend to do and somehow in my hops I landed on your site. Once I read your profile, I knew I had to say hi as I had been down this 'road' before and wanted to bring you comfort and joy. :) Well, definitely comfort....

Really happy I found you as I enjoy your site tremendously. Happy 1st year and here's to many, many more!

I don't even remember how I found you. But I'm certainly glad I did. Happy Blogiversary, Kranki. Love and hugs to you, dear.

P.S. That last search? FREAKY.

I dont how I got here either - probably our shared passion for Mr. H Rollins - um, I have also had some freakish searches, but yours is the crazinest!!

Happy anniversary!

How do I get here? Probably via Sherri or Scotty Gee...

Strange searches, eh?

Anonymous said...

I found you via Dooce... lo those many months ago.

Congratulations, woman!

That last search is pretty weird. The weirdest part is how specific it is!

I followed a link from Rosie's to "SWLF" and found you and a girl named Deb mentioned there...

So glad I did! Very glad Yoshi's better...having a pet that's "under the weather" is almost worse than being sick yourself!

But happy blirthday, anyway!

Happy blogthday and a grand new year! This last year has been, shall we say, real: funny and scary-tense in equal measure.

I think I found you via Dooce but no longer remember. Came for the crazy cat stuff, stayed for the life and the writing.

Happy Blogaversary!

I can't believe you posted on Sunday, you sinner! It's God's day. Thou shan't post on your blog on the Sabbath! (it's the missing 11th Amendment)

Kranki said...

MR BLOGGERIFIC-thanks. Your curiosity is, well, curious. No number. Sorry.

SUSIE-I remember that. Everybody was going on how their cats freaked right out with costumes and I HAD to de-lurk to brag that my cat LOVED being dressed up. Thinking back that is not really something to brag about. However, it brought you to me and therefor worth it.

CLOSET METRO-you are a sweet little pervert.

AMANDA-medical porn? OH MY GOD!!! I am afraid to ask.

SNAPS79-I love Spoonie. Don't you?

FROG-I don't know Aunt B so that must not be it. Hmmm. A mystery.

ERN-love ya too! Dear Susie is a very good connector.

LILBITCH-yes, it appears that the kranky is a shared theme. Excellent. And humiliating dogs is fun too.

WILBUR-yes the Olympics will be here and I am not very excited to be honest. I am not a fan of the Olympics and even though it is 4 years away there is always some sort of sordid story on the news EVERY FRICKIN NIGHT. I am rather sick of it already. I hope it gets better.

TRACI-that is really sweet! Thanks!

KAREN-nope! All real. Really scary, that is.

MOMENTARILY_DISTRACTED-I love confetti!

SHARKEY-very EW! I think I mentioned on Dooce that I had breast cancer and you came by to introduce yourself and gave me a lots of support. You rock!

MRTL-but was it HARD poo poos? That seems to be the distinguishing factor there. Don't panic, my dear. We are all friends here.

EASTY-initially I was a little ashamed/grossed out but I decided they were too funny not to share.

ECLECTIC-I started the Neil Sedaka thing so I am not going to stop any singing here. That would be wrong.

And there is Susie being a connector again. Damn, she is good.

SCOTTYGEE-maybe next Friday you will get your wish. Orgy photos of Yoshi.

KALKI-that is so sweet. I love reading you too. I aspire to be a writer like you one day.

LEAFGIRL77-are you really sure you want to know? I mean REALLY?!?

SASSYFEMME-I think you are wise. Ignorance is bliss.

CIRCE-you have brought me comfort and joy. Your support has meant a lot to me. Thank you.

DIVINE CALM-and a bit freaky too.

LADYBUG-mucho freaky! Freakily freaky.

OPERA GAL-ah, yes. HR. Mmmmmmmm...

JULIO CESAR-strange is too mild, I think. CRAZY is more like it.

SHERYL-it is pretty specific. Creepily specific.

ALAN-yes, when Yoshi is sick I really worry. Thanks for coming by and giving your support.

CANDACE-I can't remember either. Just glad you got here.

UDGE-it really has been quite the year, hasn't it? Yoshi is quite a connector too.

DIMA-that is me. The Sinner!

NIKKI-Susie emailed me and told me about Sarah and gave me a link to her blog. I don't know how she found Sarah. That Susie is good.

Happy Blog Birthday! I found you through Spoonielicious. I'm so glad that I did.

Happy Anniversary, Kranki! I'm Sharkey's sister, and have been lurking for a while now. Yours is always the first blog that I check out after I read hers. I thought the name "Von Krankipantzen" was hilarious, so I think that's why I originally checked it out. I am also a cat lover, but don't have one as my husband is allergic to them. Although, I'm seriously considering getting a few of them now that my allergic mother-in-law has asked to come and live with us and our 3 kids!

I clicked on your blog from veryzen and was enchanted by your cat. So enchanted that I had an accident doing farts.

Happy Bloggiversary! I'm running behind on my blogging and missed this one. I think I probablyfound you through Bucky. That's how I found most people. I came here to give you support in your kicking cancer's ass. But I stayed because I love your writing. and Yoshi :-)
